COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Policy Statement

At Aquarius Day Spa your health and wellbeing is our core value, and of the utmost importance to us at all times.

We are very much aware of the growing concerns around coronavirus (Covid-19) and the important role we play in maintaining the health and wellbeing of our staff, guests and members.

We will be continuing to open as usual, throughout this public crisis, unless circumstances change. Although we also understand that you may choose to stay at home and postpone any treatments at this time.

At Aquarius we already adhere to high standards of health, hygiene and cleaning, however, during this time we have been taking and are continuing to take, extra steps above and beyond the guidelines recommended by the government…….

During this time we have been taking and are continuing to take, extra steps above and beyond the guidelines recommended by the government…….

  • As a family run company we already adhere to strict handwashing procedures, before and after EVERY treatment.
  • All beds and headrests, beds, desks and chairs etc….. are sanitized between treatments
  • All entrance and exit doors and door handles, door locks, toilet flushes, handrails, communal services, reception desk, card machine, desks, beds and bed chairs etc, are sanitised with Antibacterial spray repeatedly through out the day.
  • We continue to place fresh towels on each bed for each new guest.
  • Our laundry have confirmed that they are washing all towels and bedding, above 60 degrees (Gov. guidelines). They have also added a new detergent that is anti bacterial and an emulsifier which breaks down fatty membrane of viruses.
  • To add to this all therapists and staff are now using antibacterial gel on entering and leaving Aquarius Day Spa.
  • In addition they are now, all trained to use a personal nail brush (which is sterilised daily) at all times when washing hands, nails and forearms.
  • On arrival, all guests are given compulsory antibacterial hand gel to sanitize their hands and forearms. Please adhere to this when visiting.
  • We have antibacterial hand wash by our toilet sink for all to use.
  • All treatment room door handles are sanitised between each guest.
  • We continue to be vigilant and are focused on sterilising all items that are commonly touched.
  • We have increased the quantity of all disinfectant cleaning products, available to all our team members, at Aquarius Day Spa.
  • We now have new paper hand towels available in the bathroom for you to dry your hands on. These can be directly disposed of in the bin provided.

We are continuing to communicate  as a team on the guidance for prevention. That guidance remains:

  • Wash hands upon arrival to work and use an antibacterial hand sanitiser gel.
    •  Continue to wash/sanitise hands regularly throughout the day especially after potential contact points.
    • Regularly sanitise work stations/tools e.g. bed, trolleys, desk spaces, between each guest.
    • Sneeze or cough into tissue.
    • Bin tissues immediately after use. Wash hands thoroughly, immediately afterwards.
    • Follow government advice if you have relevant symptoms and self isolate.
    • Wash uniform at over 60 degrees
  • Continue to practise self care of personal health and wellbeing. To keep immune system healthy and strong.
